Another poem of mine that keeps ringing in my head!!! Enjoy
What is it?
You want to tell me something?
Go ahead.
I'll be like the tree,
the cloud,
and the sky.
I promise
I won't tell anyone.
I'll be like the tree,
quiet, and helpful.
I'll absorb what you tell me,
and in return, I'll help you.
Just like a tree is watered
and gives you oxygen in return.
I promise
I won't tell anyone.
I'll be like the cloud,
when I move,
no matter what,
I'll be quiet.
I'll give you rain
to water that tree.
Tell me.
I promise
I won't tell anyone.
I'll be like the sky,
I'll always be there for you.
Even when the clouds cover me.
I'll send them away.
But don't worry,
They'll still remain quiet
Like I said they are.
Tell me.
I won't tell anyone. . . I promise
So how was it? I just made it up right now. The main topic keeps popping up in my head, and I heard the words, "I promise." Over and over again. So I decided to write a poem about it. You have to be deep to understand this poem. Reading it only once might not mean a lot at first. So please, read it at least 3 times, and really think about what it's trying to say.
But if you don't read it that many times, it's ok. I'll still welcome your comments. I can't wait to here them
