I miss you Grandmother

Whenever I think of you,
My soul enlightens.
I smile, because in my head, I see you,
And my mood brightens.

Whenever I think of you,
I am in pain.
So terribly, I miss you,
This feeling cannot be tamed.

Whenever I think of you,
I think of the warm hugs you give me.
They wash away my feelings of blue
And make me extrememly happy.

Whenever I think of you,
I think of all the love you carry.
Always, you carry so much with you,
And always, that way, you are merry.

This is a poem to both of my grandmothers. Including the one who passed away.
